I was born in Lisbon, a city where whites and ochres combine with the blinding light of the sun reflected on the sea; travelled, worked and painted in Spain, Switzerland, California, the Western Cape, London and Kent, each place full of its own colours filtered through the brightness of different skies.

My paintings combine my love for light and colour with my training in art, drafting and engineering, drawing inspiration from my travels around the world, from the people I encounter, images that touch me, my friends, my wonderful children Hope, Theo and Tom, and my amazing partner, Maya.
